01.1. Overview
QRBuildr is a digital service delivered as a subscription-based SaaS platform. Because our services are delivered electronically and made available to you immediately upon subscription, all subscription fees are generally non-refundable.
We understand that exceptional circumstances arise, and we have outlined limited refund eligibility criteria below. We encourage you to take advantage of our free plan to evaluate QRBuildr before committing to a paid subscription.
02.2. Subscription Billing Cycle
QRBuildr subscriptions are billed on a monthly recurring basis. Key details of our billing cycle include:
- Your subscription fee is charged at the beginning of each billing period
- Billing periods run for 30 days from the date of your initial subscription or most recent renewal
- All payments are processed securely through Stripe, our third-party payment processor
- You will receive an email receipt for each payment processed
- Plan upgrades take effect immediately, and you will be charged the prorated difference for the remainder of your current billing period
- Plan downgrades take effect at the start of your next billing period
03.3. Cancellation
You may cancel your QRBuildr subscription at any time through your account settings. Our cancellation policy works as follows:
- Cancel anytime: You are free to cancel your subscription at any point during your billing period. There are no cancellation fees or penalties.
- Continued access: After cancellation, you will retain full access to your paid plan features until the end of your current billing period. Your QR codes will continue to function normally during this time.
- No partial refunds: We do not issue partial refunds for unused time remaining in your billing period after cancellation. Your subscription will simply not renew at the end of the current period.
- After your plan expires: Once your billing period ends, your account will be downgraded to the free plan. Dynamic QR codes exceeding free plan limits may be paused, but your data will be retained for a reasonable period in case you choose to resubscribe.
04.4. Refund Eligibility
While subscriptions are generally non-refundable, we will consider refund requests in the following limited circumstances:
- Billing errors: If you were charged an incorrect amount due to a system error, we will refund the overcharge or correct the billing discrepancy promptly.
- Duplicate charges: If you were charged more than once for the same billing period due to a processing error, we will refund the duplicate payment in full.
- Extended service unavailability: If the QRBuildr platform experiences a continuous outage or is substantially unavailable for more than 48 hours during your billing period due to issues on our end (not including scheduled maintenance communicated in advance), you may be eligible for a prorated refund or account credit for the affected period.
- First-time subscriber guarantee: If you are a first-time paid subscriber and request a refund within 7 calendar days of your initial subscription purchase, we may issue a full refund at our discretion, provided that your account has not had significant usage during that period. Significant usage includes, but is not limited to, creating more than 5 QR codes, generating more than 100 scans on dynamic QR codes, or uploading assets to the platform.
Refund eligibility is determined at the sole discretion of QRBuildr. We reserve the right to deny refund requests that do not meet the criteria above or that we believe are made in bad faith.
05.5. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, please email us at contact@qrbuildr.com with the following information:
- The email address associated with your QRBuildr account
- The date of the transaction you are requesting a refund for
- The reason for your refund request, with as much detail as possible
- Any relevant supporting documentation (e.g., screenshots of duplicate charges or billing errors)
Our team will review your request and respond within 3 business days. We may request additional information to process your request.
06.6. Processing Time
Once a refund has been approved, please allow 5 to 10 business days for the refund to be processed and reflected in your account. The exact timing depends on your payment method and financial institution.
- Refunds are issued to the original payment method used for the transaction
- Credit card refunds may take 5–10 business days to appear on your statement
- You will receive an email confirmation when your refund has been processed on our end
- If you do not see the refund after 10 business days, please contact your financial institution first, then reach out to us if the issue persists
07.7. Chargebacks
We strongly encourage you to contact us directly before initiating a chargeback or dispute with your bank or credit card company. We are committed to resolving billing issues quickly and fairly.
- Contact us first: In most cases, we can resolve billing concerns faster than the chargeback process, which can take weeks or months to complete.
- Account consequences: Filing a chargeback without first attempting to resolve the issue with us may result in immediate suspension of your QRBuildr account pending the outcome of the dispute.
- Dispute resolution: If a chargeback is filed, we will provide all relevant documentation to the payment processor to support the validity of the charge. If the chargeback is resolved in our favor, your account will remain active but may be subject to review.

08.8. Free Plan
QRBuildr offers a free plan that allows you to explore the platform and create QR codes at no cost. Because no payment is required for the free plan:
- No billing occurs and therefore no refunds are applicable
- The free plan is provided “as is” with no guarantees regarding uptime or feature availability
- We encourage all users to start with the free plan to evaluate whether QRBuildr meets their needs before subscribing to a paid plan
09.9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our billing practices, service offerings, or applicable legal requirements. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page and may notify you via email or through a notice on the platform.
Your continued use of QRBuildr and any paid subscription after changes to this policy constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
